“STEPS’ – Sparks Institute for Teacher Education & Professional Studies head quartered in Tamil Nadu, India, is duly registered under the Government of India. ‘STEPS’ operates under the auspices of Springs Educational & Charitable Trust (SECT) which focuses on empowering women, fostering youth development and promoting child welfare.
Through SECT’s SheWins Women Empowerment Project, ‘STEPS’ has taken the initiative to train deserving women through its teacher training programs. The programs are certified by BSS and World Skill Council. The institution has earned the goodwill through its high standard teaching programs. This project of ‘STEPS’ will serve double purpose by serving the women in need by training them and to get placed and also serve by providing trained teachers to the schools and creating a knowledgeable teacher community.
